The Study Key is stored in a niche behind the painting of the Sarcophagus at the end of the hallway where you will also find the Study. Lighting the two candles placed on the sides of the painting, the secret stash will open and set off a magical trap mechanism, inflicting considerable damage when standing in front of it. It's more wise then, to stand aside and sacrifice the window on the opposite side of the corridor. The Key is required to gain access to the Study.
