Location

The Japanese Mask can be found inside the Mansion's Study, along with a theatrical Porcelain Mask and an indigenous Voodoo Mask, hung up on the wall below the painting of Florentine. Masks such as these were and are frequently used in the traditional Japanese Kabuki and Noh theater, allowing the players to assume other personas.

Adam: I know a little about Kabuki theatre but nothing about the traditions of Masks. What was it you said about Masks? Rebecca: Masks were originally worn to create a different personality. In some cultures it is believed that the wearing of masks for any purpose should be considered carefully, in case the wearer should turn into the personification of the actual mask.
