The Die is an item found in a small locker next to a barricaded staircase in the Mansion. Seeing as it has no practical use, its main purpose probably consists in serving as an ominous insinuation, a threat, a warning of impending death, disguised in the form of a pun, similar to the 
Ace of Spades playing card that Gaul drops by the main entrance of the house.
