Darren Richard Mills (born in July 1970)[1] is a British art director, known for his involvement in the 1996 Realms of the Haunting video game, where he is credited for Digital Compositing/Intro and Visual Effects.
At present, Darren is the director of the Sheffield-based independent game development studio Sumo Digital, which he co-founded with Paul Porter, James North-Hearn and Carl Cavers (one of his Realms of the Haunting allies) in 2003 after the shutdown of Gremlin Interactive.[2] In 2005, the team was joined by composer Patrick Phelan, who Darren would know from their joint involvement in the production of Realms of the Haunting.
Apart from his work on Realms of the Haunting, Darren has also been involved in the following video game productions, mostly concerned with Art and Creative Direction:
